A new release is out is this one brings the Comms experience on Stomio to the next level. Here is how you can effectively communicate with your testers using Stomio.
New Features
1- Public Tickets
Sometimes you want to share a ticket with your tester community so you can bring awareness to a known issue or have testers help each other out. Now you can convert a private ticket to a public one with a single click and control if you want to allow comments in that ticket or not.

2- Upvote and Follow a Public Ticket
With the introduction of Public Tickets, testers can upvote a public ticket and/or follow it. Those stats are captured and visualized in the Comms page on the Manager dashboard.

3- Stomio Ticket Number
You want to reference a specific ticket in Stomio without the need to remember its content? Now each ticket in your beta has a unique number with a prefix identified at your beta creation.

4- Stomio Templates
We want to reduce the amount of time to create a beta. We also want to provide a reference for good tasks give your testers. Enter Stomio Templates, the easiest way to get started with Stomio!

5- Drag and Drop Steps Between Tasks
We get it.. You live a certain step so much you want to copy it from one task and move it to another task quickly so you can tweak it and keep building your flow. Now you can do so with ease by simply dragging that step to another task and dropping it in there π₯

Improvements
1- Comms experience overhaul
We overhauled the entire experience for the Comms page. Tickets are now easier to navigate and filter. Discussions inside tickets happen more naturally. Action items on each ticket are simple and easy to find.

2- Rich Text in Comms
Rich text is very powerful to drive a point home. Now itβs available in your tickets so you can Bold, Italicize, underline, bullet point, number list, code, link anything anywhere in Stomio!

3- Tester Onboarding Flow
We improved our onboarding flow for testers to make it much quicker for them to get into your beta and start executing on those tasks.
4- Jira Integration Default Fields
We improved our Jira integration setup by adding default fields. This allows the admin to configure a certain field in Jira to be always populated with a specific value if the ticket is pushed from Stomio to Jira.

5- Increased character limit for text feedback steps from 300 to 1024 characters
If your testers want to share their mind with you in a feedback step, they now have 3x the space to do so!

Bug Fixes
1- Fixed a bug where text is being truncated in task preview mode
2- Updated the billing page to match website design
3- Fixed some typos
4- Fixed error message when beta code is duplicated
5- Fixed a race condition where the manager is directed to the onboarding flow under a set of conditions
