We are almost at the end of 2022! While the weather is getting colder here in the bay, things are heating up at Stomio. Our Nov release is fully packed with new features and improvements to delight our users. More exciting announcements coming in Dec before we close out the year!

New Features

A ton to cover so let’s dive in!

(1) Share your Beta via a link

When creating your beta, recruiting testers is one of the critical tasks. Now you can share your Beta via a link or a QR code so your customer-facing teams can forward it easily to their customers or you can share your Beta sign up with your customers online. Whatever works best for you, getting your testers to sign is now easier than ever!

(2) Tags in tickets

Tagging your users is a very powerful feature. Now you can create tag categories for your tickets! This allows you to create whatever category you want to apply to your tickets (e.g. Impact score). You can choose to apply a tag category to both your users and tickets (e.g. rewards level) and now you can filter your tickets by that tag!


(3) External link in tickets

Do you want to reference a ticket in Stomio to a ticket in your ticketing system (e.g. GitHub) or tracking systems (e.g. Trello)? Now you have a new field in the right panel of each ticket to easily make that reference!

(4) Export beta results in .csv

If you want to do more deep analysis of your beta results, quickly export your beta results in a .csv format and go crazy in your favorite analysis tool!

(5) Export user table in .csv

Similar to your Beta results, you can export the entirety of your users table in a .csv format. This includes all the custom fields and tag categories you created in your workspace!

Improvements

A lot of new features was not the only thing we’ve been working on! We’ve added a ton of improvements as well based on your feedback!

(1) New Beta details page

We completely revamped our Beta details page! It’s now easier to navigate and dynamically updates with your beta phases!


(2) Quick invitations

With the new beta details page, we’ve made it super easy to find your users and quickly add them to your beta as you’re getting closer to launching your beta.

(3) Collapsable 2nd - and updated - navigation menu

With all the features and capabilities added to tickets and tasks (soon!), we added the ability to collapse the 2nd navigation menu to allow for more work space. Check out our updated items in the 2nd navigation menu while you’re at it!

(4) Error detection in Tasks

We know creating a flow for your testers is not an easy task. We added a complete system to detect any errors you might have in your tasks and steps with the ability to quickly identify where that error comes from! If you have an empty step for example, you’ll be able to quickly know where that error is and fix it.

(5) Announcements page in draft mode

When your Beta is in draft mode or published without testers, you will see a default screen in announcements explaining what you can do in that page once you have testers accept your invite.

(6) Zoom meeting notifications

When scheduling a Zoom meeting with your testers, they will get an email from Stomio with a calendar invite for the meeting that includes the link to the meeting. This way, no way can miss the scheduled meeting!

(7) New inputs!

We improved all of the input fields throughout the app! They’re much easier to identify and interact with now!

(8) Improved shadows for cards

With the new design, we flattened our design for the cards to make it more cohesive with the rest of the app. Check them out!


(9) Changed font type

You will notice a different font type for the headers in the app. Let us know what you think!


Bug Fixes

(1) Fixed a bug where multiple choice results get cropped in results screen

(2) Fixed a bug where breadcrumbs where missing from a couple of pages

(3) Fixed a bug in the beta completion rate in user modal
