Stomio

Stomio vs BetaTesting.com for hardware and IoT

These are not the same purchase. Stomio is the platform you run your own program in, with testers you already have. BetaTesting is a service: they find testers, ship your devices and run the test for you. Plenty of hardware teams need both.

Stomio fits when

You already have the people: a waitlist, design partners, existing customers, a distributor's field techs, or your own staff. What you do not have is the program. Stomio is where the test plan, the NDA, the tasks, the tickets and the results live, and you keep the relationship with your testers instead of renting it.

BetaTesting fits when

You do not have testers. You need people who own a smart thermostat, live in three specific climates and will accept a device by mail, and you would rather buy that than build it. BetaTesting finds and screens them, ships the devices, and sends you the results. Tester rewards are included in the credit price.

Questions people ask

No. We do not run a tester panel and we do not find testers for you. You bring testers from your own audience, and we give you a public screening form, bulk CSV invites and labels to sort and group them. If you need a panel, use a recruiting service and invite the testers they find into Stomio.
